Croq Cats is playable without an account. We mint an anonymous guest id in a first-party cookie (croq_guest) and mirror it in localStorage so your Reddit-style name and identicon stay stable across refreshes.
- No email, password, or OAuth.
- The cookie is a play token only — not sold, not used for ads.
- Run stats stay on your device unless you opt into a future shared leaderboard.
- Lobby rooms may briefly hold your display name and avatar seed for matchmaking.
Clearing site data resets your guest identity. A new name and avatar will be generated on the next visit.
